My first abstract landscape collection was created during the months of sleepless nights and unpredictable days that followed the birth of my youngest child, the abstract landscape collection reflects my desire to soak up peace and stillness as I sought to reflect grace and strength to myself and those around me.
In creating this first collection and the more recent paintings that have followed, I continue to discover respite as my hands work with color and texture and paint echoes of nature through memories brought to life.
I’m reminded that places tell our stories—stories of contentment and longing and stories of stillness and rest, beckoning us to remember who we are and who we are becoming.
